Meet the Guides Open Day

- Saturday 25th April 2020, from 10:30am to 2:30pm

  at Kingston Museum

On Saturday 25th April at Kingston Museum, between 10.30am and 2.30pm, your Kingston Tour Guides will be holding a ‘Meet the Guides’ open day. It’s your opportunity as a resident, parent, teacher, community group leader, student or someone with an interest in the History of Kingston to come and meet and talk with the people who bring the ancient history of the town to life.

Who we are and what can we do for you? How can we enhance your (and others') knowledge of the history of the town? Would you, perhaps, like to become a Kingston Tour Guide?

What do we do?  Well, for a start, your Guides, as volunteers, make ourselves freely available to you every Sunday morning from March to November to take you on a walking tour of Kingston – no charge!

You may have been on a tour but, if not, why not make a note to do so this season. We believe that you will look at Kingston in a different way having done so.

Why not pop in on the Open Day and ask us questions, book a tour or a talk, let us bring Kingston and the museum to life and tell you about our favourite anecdotes and exhibits.

You may even wish to become a Kingston Tour Guide and this is one way to make introductions and find out what it entails.

Come in and meet your guides, we are really friendly people!

Kingston Tour Guides is a voluntary organisation; we are funded by a grant from the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
